Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth
“To Eliminate Homelessness Among Nevada’s Youth”
Volunteers can help out at the drop-in center answering phones, keeping the pantry and clothing closets stocked, and helping with clerical tasks. NPHY also has projects for volunteers groups, like packing lunches or hosting a BBQ for the youth.

Those interested can become a regular volunteer helping with day to day tasks in their local Boys and Girls Club, assist with a special event, or do a volunteer project with a big group.

The Center
“The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada, a community-based organization, supports and promotes activities directed at furthering the well-being, positive image, and human rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community, its allies, and low to moderate income residents in Southern Nevada.”
Volunteers can help out regularly providing administrative support and staffing the front desk, or less frequently by helping with special events or teaching special workshops. The Center even has opportunities for remote volunteering, projects you can work on from home.

Volunteers can help sort and organize clothing donations, help clients choose professional attire, provide mock interviews and resume tips, become a mentor, and help with special events.
